Ferdi Tayfur drew the line for his daughter Tuğçe Tayfur not to use her last name.

Master artist Ferdi Tayfur's daughter, Tuğçe Tayfur, who opened her own clothing store by quitting singing, has become estranged. The master artist, who welcomed his second child in June, took a stand against his daughter and took action for her not to use his surname.

"DO NOT USE MY SURNAME, DO NOT SING MY SONGS"

Ferdi Tayfur, who did not even attend his daughter's wedding and continued his life away from the public eye during this process, made a statement through his lawyer, stating that he wanted his daughter not to use his surname and to obtain name rights in her commercial activities. In the statement made by Tayfur's lawyer, the following statements were included: "Due to some special reasons that have arisen between my client, Mr. Ferdi Tayfur, and his daughter, Tuğçe Aydın, my client does not consent to the use of the 'Tayfur' surname by Tuğçe Aydın for visual and auditory commercial purposes, and my client's works being sung by Tuğçe Aydın on social media, digital platforms, and stages. Furthermore, it is stated that my client will obtain name rights due to the 'Tuğçe Tayfur Store' store operated by Tuğçe Aydın, and in order for my client, Mr. Ferdi Tayfur, his nephews, and relatives not to make any statements or remarks on social media and digital platforms, we inform Tuğçe Aydın and announce these statements to the public. If our statements are not taken into consideration, we reserve all our legal rights regarding Tuğçe Aydın and individuals or companies who work and act together with Tuğçe Aydın, and we declare that we will file a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office."

Tayfur shared his lawyer's statement on his Instagram account and said, "I didn't want it to be like this."
