Fethiye İdmanyurdu, which achieved championship in the Regional Amateur League and was promoted to TFF 3rd League, announced that it has decided to withdraw from the league.
In a statement made from the club's social media account, it was noted that Fethiye İdmanyurdu, established in 1973 in the Fethiye neighborhood, has written a success story in recent years by reflecting the belief, youth, and passion of a district on the field.
It was expressed that Fethiye İdmanyurdu, which was promoted to the Super Amateur League as champions in the 2021-2022 season, once again became champions in the Super Amateur League in the 2023-2024 season, demonstrating determination and took a step into the Regional Amateur League.
''WE DID OUR BEST''
In the statement, it was mentioned that the club also became champions in the Regional Amateur League this season and moved up to the 3rd League, stating, "To compete in professional leagues in our country is only possible with strong infrastructure, a solid transportation network, sustainable financial resources, and most importantly, the support of local governments, not just with the sweat of players. We did our best to go further on this challenging path."
The statement conveyed that their requests for support went unanswered, and the following was recorded:
''OUR CALLS WENT UNANSWERED''
