52 PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED AFTER EATING CHICKEN DÖNER
According to the information obtained, some individuals who ate chicken döner at a business on Atatürk Street in Güney Neighborhood experienced complaints of nausea and vomiting last night. 52 people showing signs of poisoning were treated at Körfez State Hospital and Derince Training and Research Hospital.
ESTABLISHMENT SEALED
After the interventions, some patients were discharged, while it was learned that the condition of 2 patients receiving treatment in Derince is critical. Following the incident, the döner shop, which was indicated as the source of the complaints, was sealed by the municipal police teams of Körfez and temporarily closed. Officials from the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conducted inspections at the establishment and took samples from the products. While food analysis results are awaited, an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
