The fluctuations in oil prices and the volatility in the exchange rate will be reflected as an increase in fuel prices. A price increase of 1.61 TL for gasoline is expected starting from midnight tonight, and 1.60 TL for diesel starting from Saturday.
Last week, the prices on the oil front, which affect fuel prices, fell below 60 dollars, but this week they reached 65 dollars and then stabilized at around 64 dollars. It is stated that the changes in exchange rates and oil prices are reflected as an increase in pump prices.
GASOLINE PRICE INCREASE AT MIDNIGHT
According to the information shared by journalist Olcay Aydilek; an increase of 1.61 TL in the price of gasoline per liter is expected to take effect from midnight tonight. With the reflection of the increased tariff at the pump, it is anticipated that the new prices will rise to the following levels in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir by Friday: 54.78 TL in Istanbul European Side, 54.62 TL in Istanbul Asian Side, 55.65 TL in Ankara, and 55.98 TL in Izmir.
DIESEL PRICE INCREASE ON SATURDAY
An increase of 1.60 TL in the price of diesel per liter is expected to be implemented on Saturday. Accordingly, it is anticipated that the price of diesel will rise to 56.41 TL in Istanbul European Side, 56.22 TL in Istanbul Asian Side, 57.47 TL in Ankara, and 57.74 TL in Izmir.
