In Pendik, a dispute arose between two drivers over a right-of-way issue. The driver of a light commercial vehicle cut off the service minibus, which was allegedly not yielding, and shouted insults and curses at the driver. He yelled, "I'll hit you," and punched the minibus window. The incident was captured on the vehicle's camera. After the argument, the driver of the light commercial vehicle left the scene.
The tension between two drivers due to a right-of-way dispute in Pendik district of Istanbul turned into threats and insults.
FOLLOWED FOR MILES
The incident occurred around 01:20 on the D-100 highway in the Kaynarca area heading towards Tuzla. According to claims, the service minibus that was moving on the road did not give way to the light commercial vehicle driver. While the tension between the two drivers continued for a while, the light commercial vehicle driver followed the other driver from Kaynarca D-100 highway to Gülyalı.
A WOMAN ALSO GOT OUT OF THE VEHICLE
After a while, the light commercial vehicle driver honked at the service minibus and cut in front of it. The driver who got out of his vehicle started shouting at the service minibus driver, "Get down, you're showing off in the middle of the road." The woman who was with the light commercial vehicle driver also got out of the vehicle.
"I WILL HIT YOU"
The service minibus driver replied, "What did I do to you, why should I run away from you, who did you confuse me with?" The light commercial vehicle driver shouted back, "If you're not doing anything, why are you running away?" The driver continued to curse and punched the window of the vehicle.
The light commercial vehicle driver, ignoring the service minibus driver's words "You confused me with someone else," continued to shout "I will hit you."
