In a fire at a paper factory in Saraburi province, Thailand, 8 people lost their lives and 26 were injured. The fire started in the raw material storage area and a large part of the factory became unusable.
In the industrial area of Saraburi province, located about 100 kilometers from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, a fire broke out in a paper factory, resulting in the deaths of 8 people and injuries to 26 others. It was reported that approximately 100 personnel were working in the factory, and the fire started in the raw material storage area located on the ground floor. It was noted that most of the employees in the production section were able to exit the building in time, while office staff on the second and third floors were trapped inside.
THE MAJORITY OF THE FACTORY BECAME UNUSABLE
With the intervention of the fire brigade teams dispatched to the scene, the fire was brought under control in about 24 hours. As a result of the fire, a large part of the factory, which consists of 3 buildings, became unusable. The factory management announced that all necessary support and compensation would be provided to the families of the deceased and the injured employees, while it was reported that search efforts were ongoing for 2 individuals who were reported missing.
