THE RESTAURANT TURNED TO ASHESThe fire was intervened by 8 fire trucks, and water cannons belonging to the Provincial Police Department, as well as teams from the Forest Regional Directorate, were also dispatched to the area. The teams made intense efforts to prevent the fire from reaching the fuel station. The police evacuated the fuel station and halted its operations as a precaution against any adverse situation. The highway in front of the establishment and the station was also closed to traffic in both directions. After approximately 2 hours of intervention by the fire crews, the fire was brought under control, but the restaurant became completely unusable. THE LIFLESS BODY OF THE CLEANING WORKER WAS FOUNDIn the incident, 4 people were affected by smoke, while 3 others were taken to the hospital after fainting. After the fire was completely extinguished, an examination revealed the lifeless body of Hanım Çakır (41), who worked as a cleaning worker in the restaurant. Hanım Çakır's body was taken to the morgue after the investigation at the scene. Governor Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, Chief Public Prosecutor Fatih Karabacak, and Provincial Police Chief Mahmut Ay conducted investigations at the restaurant.
