In a house fire in the village of Korucu, Edirne, an 82-year-old woman lost her life.

A fire broke out at the home of 82-year-old Fethiye Evren in the village of Korucu, connected to Edirne's center, for an undetermined reason. After Evren's neighbors noticed the flames, they informed the fire department and medical teams. The fire department teams from Edirne Municipality, who arrived at the scene, extinguished the fire after long efforts.

An Investigation Has Been Launched Regarding The Incident

It was determined that Fethiye Evren, who was trapped among the flames inside the house, lost her life. Evren's body was taken to the Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital Morgue for an autopsy after the prosecutor's examination. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation regarding the fire.
