In a fire that broke out in the Nizip district of Gaziantep, two children aged 1 and 3 lost their lives. It was reported that the children were home alone when the fire started while their mother had gone to the market.
A fire occurred on the third floor of a building located on Karakoç Street in the Belkız neighborhood of Nizip district, Gaziantep. Allegedly, the fire, which originated from the stove, quickly grew and engulfed the entire area. Upon noticing the rising smoke, the neighborhood residents reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center, and health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene.
TEAMS THAT EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES ENCOUNTERED THE LIFLESS BODIES OF 2 CHILDREN
Upon reaching the scene, the teams intervened in the fire and extinguished the flames. During the examination of the house, the lifeless bodies of two children named Müslüm Saçkesen and Aras Saçkesen were found. The funerals of the two siblings were taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institution, while it was claimed that the children were home alone during the fire, as their mother had gone to the market. It was learned that the deceased children's father was in prison. A comprehensive investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
