Geoscientist and earthquake expert Prof. Dr. Naci Görür commented on the 5.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Kale district of Malatya, saying, "The earthquake that happened today is likely a result of energy transfer from the February 6, 2023 earthquakes to this fault. There is no need for concern."

Geologist and Earthquake Expert Prof. Dr. Naci Görür made a statement following the 5.9 magnitude earthquake centered in the Kale district of Malatya, which was felt in many provinces.

"NO WORRIES"

Görür stated in a post on his social media account on platform X, "A 6.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Akuşağı-Kale/Malatya. It is on the East Anatolian Fault Zone.
