The report regarding the DNA examination and narrowed HTS records has been added to the investigation file," and thus, the need to inform the public arose. "FALSE NEWS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED"

"In order to prevent similar attacks on other family members following the murder of our daughter Narin and for preventive measures, it is known that some of our family members installed security cameras in their homes on September 2, 2024. However, false news was published claiming that the camera recordings were deleted retroactively with the intent to create a false perception in the public," the statement continued:

"MOTHER GÜRAN'S STATEMENT WAS DISTORTED"

"Moreover, it has been determined that the statement of mother Yüksel Güran, who indicated that she delivered laundry to Hediye Güran in the morning for washing, was distorted, leading to false news that all carpets and linens were washed. It was also found that the statement of her mother, who said that two people with Enes Güran were smoking, was censored due to RTÜK rules, resulting in her statement being distorted again, leading to false news that Enes was a drug addict. We firmly believe that once the camera recordings from the surrounding villages, where our daughter Narin was last seen on the day of the incident, are examined and the related reports are completed, the murder will be identified with undeniable evidence or the incident will be clarified. At this stage, we think it is essential to wait for the results of the investigation authorities' work and to maintain our trust and faith in the law. It is undoubtedly necessary for the satisfaction of the conscience of our family and society and for justice to be served that the questions of 'who or whom killed our daughter Narin, and why she was killed' are clarified with concrete evidence without leaving any room for doubt, and that the perpetrator(s) of the incident are punished in the harshest way possible.

We express our gratitude to everyone who shares in the pain of our family due to the murder of our daughter Narin, who embraces Narin as if she were their own daughter, feels her pain in their hearts, and follows the investigation, and who sincerely expresses their opinions to clarify the incident. While every individual in society has the right to express their anger within legal and moral boundaries, to satisfy their conscience, to express their thoughts, and to propose possible scenarios regarding why the murder may have occurred, it has been observed that through social media and the press, which exceed this purpose, prejudices without concrete evidence have been produced, leading to attempts to direct the investigation file, disregarding the right to not be defamed, and using excessive expressions containing insults.

"ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE CHASTITY OF WOMEN ARE UNACCEPTABLE"

In this context, it was stated that unacceptable allegations were made against the chastity of the women in the family, and it was emphasized that "In addition to the pain of a family that has lost a child, attacks on the honor and dignity of individuals through written, visual media, and social media with dirty information have created irreparable victimization and have led to the unjustly produced scenarios being perceived as real in the eyes of society.

According to the presumption of innocence, no one is considered guilty until their guilt is established by a court ruling.
