Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended the Islamic Cooperation Organization and Arab League Gaza Contact Group Meeting held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
"ATTACKS ARE A SIGN OF ISRAEL'S EXPANSIONIST POLICY"
In his speech at the meeting, Minister Fidan said, "While we are gathered here today, genocide, forced displacement, and apartheid are still ongoing. The Israeli airstrikes on March 18 have revealed that Israel has a more comprehensive agenda. The obstruction of humanitarian aid and the targeting of Syrian and Lebanese territories are indicators that Israel is persistent in this expansionist policy."
"PEACE IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT STOPPING ISRAEL"
Using the phrase "Peace is not possible without stopping Israel in the region," Minister Fidan stated, "Our primary goal should be to stop the destruction in Gaza and to achieve a lasting ceasefire. Pressure on Israel needs to be increased. We should utilize platforms like the UN for an urgent and permanent ceasefire. Egypt's Gaza plan, supported by all OIC countries, offers a constructive framework. We should progress based on this plan."
