TRUMP'S COMMENT ON THE INCIDENT

FROM FBI DIRECTOR TO SPECIAL PROSECUTOR
Mueller, who took over as FBI Director just a week before the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, held this position until 2013.
Mueller, whose term was extended by former U.S. President Barack Obama, became the second longest-serving director in FBI history.
Mueller's career was marked not only by his role at the FBI but also by his appointment in 2017 to investigate the activities of Trump's campaign during the election process.
RUSSIA INVESTIGATION IN THE U.S.
Following allegations that the Russian government influenced the 2016 presidential elections in favor of Trump, Robert Mueller was appointed as a special prosecutor in 2017, and the activities of Trump's campaign during the election process were investigated.
After approximately 2.5 years of investigation, no evidence was found to convict Trump, and the case was closed.
Subsequently, the U.S. Department of Justice appointed John Durham as a special prosecutor in October 2020, and the origins of the Russia investigation began to be examined.
In Durham's investigation, two individuals have confessed to tampering with evidence and attempting to convict Trump, and it was revealed that the Steele dossier, which led to the Russia investigation, was funded by the Democrats.
