İbrahim Tatlıses's former manager, Şule Yazar, filed a criminal complaint with the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, claiming that the artist threatened her and subjected her to mobbing and psychological violence.
Şule Yazar (45), the former manager of İbrahim Tatlıses living in İzmir, went to the courthouse and filed a criminal complaint against the singer, claiming that he had 'threatened her, insulted her, and subjected her to mobbing and psychological violence.'
After her complaint, Şule Yazar made statements regarding the incident, saying, "I didn't want the situation to come to this. I am a mother of two. This incident happened out of necessity to protect my husband and children and to document what has been done to me. My lawyer and I had to submit a petition. This is a process that started before my pregnancy. I experienced various pressures, such as being yelled at over the phone. I waited for 8 months hoping that the violence would decrease and the mistakes would be recognized, but on the contrary, it continued to increase. There was never a situation where I could confront and talk, ask for accountability, or request an explanation. I couldn't find anyone to address. I did not accept the threats, insults, and accusations that were brought to me, nor the things said behind my back. We felt the need to take the matter to court. We received veiled threats. We cannot know how much they will carry this out. Perhaps these are words said in anger, but we considered the possibility that they could be realized. We are proceeding with witnesses, evidence, and proofs," she stated.
"MY PSYCHOLOGY CANNOT HANDLE IT"
Yazar, who claimed that various accusations were made against her, noted:
"There are also profane remarks directed at my family. My psychology can no longer handle it. I am experiencing a collapse. Because of these events, I have been weaned from breastfeeding in 4 and a half months. I believe there should be a consequence in the judiciary."
"THERE IS ALSO OTHER EVIDENCE"
Lawyer Serkan Onukar, who provided information about the complaint, stated, "Our counterpart is a name that has won the love of the Turkish people for years, has always been in the spotlight with his art and what he has done so far. We are truly saddened to have come to this point. This issue has been on our agenda for a while. Ms. Şule has been very patient. Mr. İbrahim thought that he would give up these actions and statements during this time. However, during this process, these issues escalated to larger dimensions. Filing a complaint has now become our last resort. We tried to be very sensitive in our petition. We meticulously examined the expressions we used, the claims we made, our witnesses, and our evidence. Some matters also need to be investigated by the prosecutor's office. The investigation will take a certain amount of time. We will have other evidence to present. We trust the Turkish judiciary. Our faith is endless. What we hope for is that this matter concludes peacefully and safely. We will follow the process," he stated.
