Former US President Joe Biden has reportedly undergone surgery due to skin cancer lesions. According to a report by the New York Times, citing Biden's Presidential Office Spokesperson Kelly Scully, Biden underwent a "Mohs" surgery due to skin cancer lesions.
SCAR ON HIS FOREHEAD DREW ATTENTION
Images shared on social media showed that 82-year-old Biden had a scar on his forehead. CNN's report on the matter did not disclose the date the operation took place.
Mohs is known as a surgical technique where thin layers of skin are gradually removed and examined under a microscope until no cancer cells remain.
PROSTATE CANCER DIAGNOSIS WAS ALSO MADE
Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer in May, which was reported to have spread to his bones. Born on November 20, 1942, Biden served as the 46th President of the United States from 2021 to 2025.
