Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that an investigation has been initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the events that took place in front of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency and those who made provocative posts on social media.

Tunç stated in a post on his social media account, "An investigation has been initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the events that took place in front of the CHP Provincial Presidency and those who made provocative posts on social media."

"APPLICATIONS TO THE SUPREME ELECTION COUNCIL WERE REJECTED"

In the case opened by a CHP Istanbul Provincial and Congress Delegate regarding the irregularities at the Istanbul Provincial Congress, allegations of interest provision, and actions aimed at influencing the will of the voters, Minister Tunç noted that the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance has provisionally appointed a temporary board to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency. He also stated that the objections made by the CHP General Presidency in the judicial system and the applications made to the Supreme Election Council were rejected.

"Respecting the court's decision is a necessity for everyone. The rule of law is the guarantee of the democratic order. Therefore, it is essential to avoid street calls that will create tension and unrest in society, and everyone should patiently await the outcome of the judicial process. It is of great importance that statements made while the trial process is ongoing are approached with a sense of responsibility. It is the best course of action for all party officials, especially the CHP General President, to adopt a tone that respects the peace of our nation and the democratic order."
