Galatasaray Secretary General Eray Yazgan denied the claims that Mauro Icardi sent a notice to the club. Yazgan stated that the claims do not reflect the truth and that this situation is entirely the initiative of Icardi's manager. He expressed that the club has made all payments to its players and that they will send a letter of debt clearance to UEFA on March 30, describing the news as an 'operation'.
After the claims that Mauro Icardi sent a notice to Galatasaray, the yellow-red club made a statement. General Secretary Eray Yazgan denied the news.
"ICARDI IS NOT EVEN AWARE"
Speaking to Sabah, Eray Yazgan stated that the claims do not reflect the truth, saying, "Icardi is not even aware of the incident. This is entirely the initiative of his manager."
"PAYMENTS ARE COMPLETE"
Emphasizing that the club has made payments to all players, Yazgan stated that they will send a letter of debt clearance to UEFA on March 30, saying, "Can we obtain such a document without making the payments?"
"THIS IS AN OPERATION"
Yazgan argued that the news targets the club and president Dursun Özbek, describing this situation as an "operation."
"4 MILLION EUROS IS A TIP FOR US"
Pointing out the Osimhen transfer, Yazgan said, "We paid 75 million euros. 4 million euros would be a tip for us," responding harshly to the claims.
