Galatasaray gives a record raise to Barış Alper Yılmaz.

Galatasaray offered a new contract to national football player Barış Alper Yılmaz, who is one of the stars of the team. The yellow-red management is preparing to make a significant increase in the 24-year-old player's salary.

NEW SALARY 75 MILLION TL

According to Haluk Yürekli from 343; Galatasaray will pay Barış Alper Yılmaz an annual salary of around 75 million TL with his new contract. The new contract will become valid after the financial general assembly following October 12.

INCREASE RATE 750 PERCENT

Currently earning 10 million TL annually, Barış Alper will receive a 750 percent raise with the new contract he accepted. The duration of the national star's contract will remain fixed until the summer of 2027, and there will be no extension during the contract period.

25 MILLION EURO OFFER NOT PASSED TO DURSUN ÖZBEK

On the other hand, it was reported that Barış Alper was upset by Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek's words, "No offer has come regarding Barış Alper." On the last day of the transfer window, while Kerem Aktürkoğlu was going to Benfica, an offer of around 25 million euros, including bonuses, came from Nottingham Forest for the 25-year-old footballer. Barış Alper was not allowed to leave because Kerem Aktürkoğlu had already left, and therefore this offer was not communicated to Dursun Özbek.
