Galatasaray has loaned 23-year-old Danish defender Mathias Ross to Czech team Sparta Prague with a conditional purchase option. The agreement includes a conditional purchase option of 1.2 million euros and a 300,000 euro bonus.

PURCHASE OPTION OF 1.2 MILLION EUROS

In a statement from the yellow-red club, it was announced that an agreement has been reached with Sparta Prague regarding the temporary transfer of our professional footballer Mathias Ross Jensen with a conditional purchase option for the 2024-2025 season. According to the agreement, if the purchase option is exercised, Sparta Prague will pay our club a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros. In addition, the agreement includes a conditional bonus of 300,000 euros.

ROSS' GALATASARAY CAREER

Mathias Ross, who transferred to Galatasaray from Aalborg team for 1.75 million euros in the summer of 2022, wore the yellow-red jersey twice and celebrated one goal in the 2022-2023 season. Ross, who spent last season on loan at Dutch team NEC Nijmegen, played 25 matches, including 12 as a starter, and scored 2 goals. The 23-year-old Danish defender has a contract with Galatasaray until 2026.
