Galatasaray defeated Juventus 5-2 in the Champions League playoff round; after a night where Noa Lang stood out with two goals, the UEFA country coefficient rankings were updated and Turkey maintained its 9th place.

Galatasaray made a mark on the European night by defeating Juventus 5-2 at RAMS Park in the first match of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 play-off. The yellow-reds, who made a remarkable comeback after being 2-1 down in the match, reached a historic score.

In the match, new transfer Noa Lang shone with his two goals, while Cabal from Juventus was sent off with a red card after receiving his second yellow card in the 67th minute. Galatasaray also took good advantage of the numerical superiority, widening the gap and gaining a significant advantage before the return leg.
