Two hours before the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. military stated, "Unauthorized entrants and exits may be subject to seizure. The blockade will be enforced in the Gulf of Oman. Neutral vessels may be subject to visit and search rights to detect the presence of smuggled cargo. The blockade applies to all shipping traffic regardless of flag."
After the 21-hour talks between the US and Iran in Pakistan ended without results, tensions rose again. US President Donald Trump announced that a blockade would be imposed on the Strait of Hormuz.
BLOCKADE STARTS AT 17:00 GMT
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the blockade would begin at 17:00 Turkey time. In the statement, it was noted that intervention could be made against ships entering and exiting without permission.

In a statement from the US military, it was stated, “Those entering and exiting without permission may be subject to seizure. The blockade will be implemented in the Gulf of Oman. Neutral ships may be subject to visit and search rights to detect the presence of smuggled cargo. The blockade covers all ship traffic regardless of flag.”
IRAN'S "WE CONSIDER IT WAR" MESSAGE
Iran responded harshly to this move by the US. The Tehran administration stated, “This attempt is considered an act of war, and we will respond to it. Additionally, we may use other cards that we have not yet played.”
