Faculty members from Istanbul Gelişim University and Marmara University assessed the possibility of Israel attacking Turkey. They stated that if Israel were to attempt an attack on Turkey, due to Turkey being a NATO member, either NATO would have to declare war on Israel or NATO would need to dissolve.

İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Öğretim Üyesi Doç. Dr. Fatih Fuat Tuncer and Marmara University Faculty Member Dr. Alihan Limoncuoğlu evaluated the possibility of Israel attacking Turkey in the Altı Yedi program held at the Haberler.com studio.

"IF ISRAEL ATTACKS TURKEY, NATO MUST DECLARE WAR ON ISRAEL"

Evaluating Israel's possible initiatives against Turkey, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Fuat Tuncer and Dr. Alihan Limoncuoğlu stated, "I think it is obvious that Israel's ultimate goal is to create chaos in Palestine, Syria, and Iraq, and actually try to affect Turkey with this instability. Israel does not have the courage to attack Turkey. Israel's greatest strength is that no one can stand against it. Let's say Israel attempted to attack Turkey; Turkey is a NATO country. If Israel attacks Turkey, either NATO must declare total war on Israel, or NATO must dissolve."
