Germany's women's gymnasts team compete with full body suits.

German gymnasts wore unitards at the Tokyo Olympics in an anti-sexism statement on Sunday.

Germany's women's gymnasts team of Sarah Voss, Pauline Schaefer-Betz, Elisabeth Seitz, and Kim Bui competed with the full-body suits covering their legs and thighs.

They also trained with the full body-length outfits on Thursday.

German athletes also wore the unitards during the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Basel in April.

Voss had previously explained her choice to wear the full-body suit, urging "especially younger athletes to wear what they feel most comfortable in." -
