It did not go unnoticed that Atatürk was listed as "Mustafa Atatürk" in the scandalous list, prompting the Turkish Embassy in Canada to take action.

In a high school in Canada, the name of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was added to the list of dictators to be selected for the assignment given to 12th-grade students titled "Choose a dictator, explain."

The founder of the Republic of Turkey, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was placed on the same list as blood-stained dictators like Benito Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, and Fulgencio Batista. The scandal prompted action from Turkey's Embassy in Canada.

"SUCH TREATMENT OF ATATÜRK IS UNACCEPTABLE"

Turkey's Ambassador to Canada, Can Dizdar, made a statement regarding the issue, saying, "Such treatment of our Atatürk is unacceptable. Unfortunately, such isolated incidents can occur. I would like to especially thank the sensitivity shown by our student's family."
