High fuel prices are one of the biggest complaints of citizens. However, the latest preparation is of a kind that will please fuel users. A discount on fuel is coming. Starting from Tuesday, October 22, 2024, a price reduction of 1.87 TL in the gasoline group and 1.65 TL in the diesel group is expected.

With fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices, gasoline and diesel prices are also changing with news of discounts and price increases.

DISCOUNT ON GASOLINE AND DIESEL

Starting from Tuesday, October 22, 2024, a price reduction of 1.87 TL is expected for gasoline and 1.65 TL for diesel.

According to current fuel pump prices;

In Istanbul, the price of diesel per liter is sold at 43.54 TL.

The price of gasoline per liter is sold at an average of 44.67 TL.

HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?

In Turkey, when calculating gasoline and diesel prices; the refinery sales price excluding VAT is found by adding the ÖTV and EPDK share to the duty-free refinery price.

When calculating the Duty-Free Refinery Price, daily CIF Mediterranean product prices published in the Mediterranean-Italian market and the daily Dollar exchange rate are monitored, and a duty-free refinery ceiling sales price is obtained with a certain price change difference.
