The new regulation aims to establish clear rules for overtime practices and to make leave rights more planned and systematic. Additionally, it aims to increase the social security opportunities for police officers and to expand housing facilities.

The comprehensive legal regulation aimed at the security organization, which the Ministry of Interior has been working on for a long time, has reached its final stages. With the new "Police Profession Law" prepared due to the current law's inability to respond to contemporary needs, fundamental changes in the organizational structure are planned.
