The stars of 'Magnificent Century', one of the productions that gained great interest worldwide in Turkish television history, Halit Ergenç and Meryem Uzerli, are coming together in the same project after 15 years. The duo will share the lead roles in a film titled "Spring in Imroz."

Emre Oskay, the owner of Sky Films, was the one who brought together Halit Ergenç and Meryem Uzerli, who have been receiving offers to reunite in front of the camera for a long time. The two actors, who reached a large fan base worldwide with "Magnificent Century," will act together in a film project for the first time in about 15 years.

THE DIRECTOR OF THE FILM IS ÖZCAN ALPER

The director's chair for the film "Spring in Imroz" will be occupied by Özcan Alper, one of the award-winning directors of Turkish cinema. Alper has previously made notable productions such as "Autumn," "Early Winter," "Festival of Lovers," and "Dark Night."

According to the news by Birsen Altuntaş, the film tells the story of two different people whose paths cross in Imroz and the story of their meeting in the possibility of a second spring that arises after this encounter. The story will trace the question, "Is love possible again in the spring of Imroz?" through relationships developed in the atmosphere of the island.
