Hande Sarıoğlu denied allegations that she was detained as part of a drug operation. After her statement was taken, Sarıoğlu stated that she was released and reacted strongly to her name being associated with this case, announcing that she would initiate legal action regarding the news.
Famous screen personalities Ela Rümeysa Cebeci and Merve Acet, along with Hande Sarıoğlu, who is said to have been taken into custody, made a statement on her social media account, vehemently denying the allegations.
"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?"
Hande Sarıoğlu stated that she was not taken into custody and had no connection to the drug operation, saying, "Have you lost your mind? How can you make such slanderous news related to a serious case conducted by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office! Immediately remove my name from the vile news you have made."

In her statement, Sarıoğlu also touched on her private life, stating that she has never used cigarettes or alcohol throughout her life and has no connection to drugs. Reminding that she has worked in sports, entertainment, and news for many years, Sarıoğlu argued that her professional and personal reputation has been harmed.

"We can all be called to give statements regarding an essential issue. Moreover, when I was called on Friday, December 5, I boarded a plane from Ankara myself, came, was questioned for half an hour, and then went out to eat. On Monday, December 8, I was at work. If there had been an accusation against me, if a health check had been done, could I have returned to my job, could I have appeared on screen? My job would have been terminated immediately. Don't you have a brain? These are documented matters; we haven't seen any footage or official news related to this girl anywhere. How can you mix my name with a case I have no connection to just because I am a presenter? Find out the truth! Anyone who has made news and comments about me, all of your screenshots and links have been collected, and I am starting legal action one by one. I spit on the news you will make.
By the way, God and those who know me are my witnesses; I am a person who has never smoked in my life, has never allowed anyone to smoke in my home or car, and has had nothing to do with those electronic whatever you call them, including alcohol.
As a presenter who has worked in sports, entertainment, and news, I know people from every community, and they know me very well. Who are you, people who do not know me? You are worthless individuals who wouldn't even amount to a gram of my character.
