The 16-year-old child, who was the complainant in the investigation against Görele Mayor Hasbi Dede, who was suspended from his position following allegations of "harassment," has been declared "brain dead" after a traffic accident over the weekend. It has been revealed that the owner of the workplace where the driver Adem Hasbaş, involved in the accident, works is Osman Akkoyun, Hasbi Dede's former brother-in-law.
The victim of the case in which Hasbi Dede, who was removed from the position of Mayor of Görele in Giresun, is being tried without detention for the crime of 'sexual harassment against a child', T.T., a 16-year-old girl who was hit by a car while trying to cross the road the day before yesterday, could not be saved at the hospital where she was treated. The driver Adem Hasbaş (23), who was taken into custody, was arrested, while efforts are ongoing to capture those who shared threats against T.T.'s family on social media prior to the accident.
HE HAD A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT AT MIDNIGHT
The accident occurred the day before yesterday around 11:00 PM at the Görele bridge location on the Black Sea Coastal Road in the Görele district. The car with license plate 28 RE 752, driven by Adem Hasbaş, hit T.T., who was trying to cross the road from Giresun to Trabzon. T.T. was injured in the accident. Upon the notification of the surrounding people, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. T.T., the victim of the case in which Hasbi Dede, who was removed from the position of Mayor of Görele, is being tried without detention for 'sexual harassment against a child', was taken to Giresun Training and Research Hospital after the first intervention by the health teams. The driver Adem Hasbaş, who fled after the accident, was caught and taken into custody as a result of the police team's efforts.

T.T., who was being treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital, could not be saved today despite all the efforts of the doctors.
THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED
The driver Adem Hasbaş was arrested and sent to prison after being referred to the court following his interrogation at the police station.

According to the news of reporter Burak Doğan; it was learned that the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident, suspect Adem Hasbaş, worked at "Ziyade Restaurant" in Görele, and the owner of the workplace, Osman Akkoyun, is Hasbi Dede's former brother-in-law.
INVESTIGATION INTO THREAT SHARES ON THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT
On the other hand, it was determined that two followers made threat posts against T.T. and her family on social media accounts on the day of the accident, and they deleted these posts after the accident. The police teams are continuing their efforts to capture those who made written posts such as 'You will pay for what you did to Hasbi, together with your partners', 'How much did you set up this trap for Hasbi?', 'You are so fake that you will pose as a victim in the news'.
SHE WAS RELEASED AT THE FIRST HEARING
Hasbi Dede, the Mayor of Görele, was called to give a statement on February 8 as part of the investigation initiated due to his correspondence with T.T. on social media. After his statement, Dede was referred to the duty magistrate court with a request for arrest, and he was released under judicial control with a travel ban. After the prosecutor's objection, Dede was called to the courthouse again for a statement on February 10, and this time he was arrested on charges of 'sexual harassment using the facilities provided by electronic communication tools against a child'. Dede, who was removed from his position by the Ministry of Interior, was charged with a prison sentence of 6 months to 3 years at the Görele 1st Criminal Court of First Instance. Dede was released under judicial control at the first hearing of the case.
