As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding violations of the Capital Markets Law and money laundering offenses, the assets of Hat Holding A.Ş. and Investco Holding A.Ş. have been seized. By the decision of the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has been appointed as the trustee for the two holding companies.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has taken an important step in the investigation regarding Hat Holding A.Ş. and Investco Holding A.Ş. for violations of the Capital Markets Law, establishing a criminal organization, and money laundering of assets obtained from crime.
ALL ASSETS SEIZED
In a statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that a decision was made to seize all assets belonging to the two companies. The statement also shared that the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has been appointed as the trustee for the management of the seized shares. It was learned that the financial aspect of the investigation is extensive and is being conducted in coordination with relevant institutions.
THERE IS A STATEMENT FROM THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
The statement from the prosecutor's office included the following expressions: "Within the scope of the investigation file numbered 2024/293366 conducted by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Office for the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism and Money Laundering, actions of Violating the Capital Markets Law, Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes, and Money Laundering of Assets Derived from Crime are being examined.
Within the file; the activities of the organization that manipulates financial statements, controls market movements with false KAP declarations, conducts price-increasing and decreasing transactions by acting together, attempts to ensure public trust by bringing together unrelated individuals from different circles, tries to create a respectable image to conceal previous administrative sanctions, and conducts various transactions to hide the source of unfair benefits obtained through all these methods that undermine public economic trust, have been allocated to the assets of Hat Holding A.Ş. and Investco Holding A.Ş., which are materially responsible for these activities, and the shares belonging to the suspects have been seized by the decision of the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace dated 04.11.2025 and numbered 2025/11423.
In order to preserve the integrity of the investigation, maintain financial records, and protect individual investors, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund has been appointed as the trustee by the decision of the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace numbered 2025/11425 regarding the management of the seized shares. The comprehensive investigation is being conducted in a multi-faceted manner while respecting confidentiality."
