APPROACHED THE VEHICLE, SPRAYED PEPPER SPRAY ON THE WOMAN IN THE PASSENGER SEAT
During the argument, the driver of the car continued on his way after colliding with the other vehicle. The fight that started quickly turned into a verbal altercation. During the argument that lasted until the traffic lights, the driver of the car sprayed pepper spray from his hand on the woman sitting in the passenger seat of the other vehicle. After the incident, the driver quickly fled while the events were recorded by a mobile phone camera.
WOMAN EXPERIENCED 3 HOURS OF VISION LOSS
It was learned that the woman exposed to pepper spray experienced approximately 3 hours of vision loss. The woman, who went to the hospital to obtain a health report, and the driver next to her filed a complaint against the aggressive driver. Furthermore, it was claimed that the aggressive driver had his child in the back seat of his vehicle during the incident. The woman stated that she had recently undergone neck surgery and was attacked despite wearing a neck brace.
6 THOUSAND LIRA FINE
Police from the Civil Traffic Teams Directorate of the Traffic Inspection Branch, which conducted work related to the incident, identified the suspect as M.Ş. (36) from the vehicle's license plate. The suspect was fined a total of 6,139 lira for 'Dangerous lane changing', 'Changing lanes without signaling', 'Unnecessarily sudden braking in a way that endangers others', 'Driving disrespectfully', and 'Not wearing a seatbelt'.
WILL BE REFERRED TO THE COURT
Additionally, the detained suspect's statement was taken, and legal action was initiated for the crimes of 'Endangering traffic safety', 'Intentional injury', 'Damaging property', and 'Threat, insult'. It was learned that the suspect would be referred to the court.
