RUSSIA UNWILLING TO STICK TO TRUMP'S PEACE STRATEGY

WHITE HOUSE: NO TRUMP-PUTIN SUMMIT PLANNED IN THE NEAR FUTURE
An unnamed White House official stated, "Secretary of State Rubio and Secretary Lavrov had a productive phone call. Therefore, an additional face-to-face meeting between the ministers is not necessary, and President Trump is not scheduled to meet with President Putin in the near future."
"WE CANNOT POSTPONE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT YET FINALIZED"
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitriy Peskov addressed the possibility of postponing the meeting expected to be held between Trump and Putin in Budapest, stating, "We cannot postpone something that is not yet finalized. Neither President Trump nor President Putin has given a specific date. We need serious preparation. This may take time. That is why a specific date was not set initially."
Peskov described the reports suggesting that Putin and Trump could travel to Budapest on the same plane as a "fantastic scenario."
ZELENSKY ATTRIBUTED THE CANCELLATION OF THE SUMMIT TO 'TOMAHAWKS'
Following these developments, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a noteworthy statement. In a video shared on his social media account, Zelensky, who said, "The front line can ignite diplomacy," referred to ongoing discussions with Washington regarding the provision of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev, stating, "As soon as the urgency for providing Ukraine with long-range strike capability decreases, Moscow's interest in diplomacy also rapidly fades." Zelensky, who argued that Russia is trying every means to avoid diplomacy, commented, "This situation shows that the long-range missile capacity that Ukraine possesses could actually be the key to peace."
