After the acquittal of two defendants, Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who suffered a nervous breakdown, was consoled by Tuğberk Yağız, the son of the famous artist Güllü, who lost his life after falling from his balcony.

On January 24, 2025, in Kadıköy, the trial regarding the stabbing murder of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi at the market concluded, with detained defendants B.B. and U.B. facing charges of 'intentional murder of a child' with a potential sentence of up to 24 years, while M.A.D. and A.Ö., who assisted the defendants, are being tried with a request for up to 20 years in prison. The hearing, held at the Kartal Anadolu 2nd Children's Heavy Penal Court, saw the four detained defendants connect via Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS), while the Minguzzi family and the attorneys for both sides were present in the courtroom.

ACQUITTAL OF TWO DEFENDANTS IN THE MINGUZZİ CASE

The court panel decided to impose aggravated life imprisonment on the detained defendants B.B. and U.B., but due to the lack of legal conditions, they were sentenced to a maximum of 24 years in prison. Noting that no remorse was shown, the court did not apply a reduction in the sentence and ruled for the acquittal of the other two defendants. After the announcement of the verdict, mother Yasemin Minguzzi fainted.

GÜLLÜ'S SON DID NOT LEAVE THE MINGUZZİ FAMILY ALONE

Following the verdict, the Minguzzi family became distressed. Minguzzi's aunt Aylin Akıncılar cried for a long time, and it was not easy to calm her down. Tuğberk Yağız, the son of the famous singer Güllü, who passed away after falling from his window on September 26, also tried to calm Akıncılar.
