A young driver who was caught driving without a license in Aksaray offered an illegal transaction to female police officers who were relatives of the driver and also claimed to be a public employee. When her request was denied, the woman and two other individuals who were with her attacked the journalists on duty, using foul language and making threats. The incident took place on Şehit Mehmet Ali Demir Street in Büyükbölcek Neighborhood at midnight. According to the information obtained, the teams from the Aksaray Provincial Security Directorate, together with the guards, conducted an operation coordinated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. They signaled the car with license plate number 68 AZ 268 approaching the operation point to stop. Upon seeing the police officers, the driver realized that it was an operation and quickly fled the scene. The police officers chased after the vehicle. The driver was caught without being able to escape for long in a short chase, and both the vehicle and the driver were taken to the operation point. The driver, named H.V.A., was found to be driving without a license after being taken out of the car and questioned by the officers. GETTING ANGRY WHEN HER REQUEST WAS DENIEDAs soon as the young driver, who was caught without a license, called her relatives to inform them that she was caught by the police, three of her relatives, including a woman named E.A., arrived at the scene. While the young driver was being penalized by the police officers at the police car, the woman noticed the cameras and told the journalists, "Don't film." The woman, who claimed to be a public employee, later asked the police officer, "Can't you write something else on my driver's license?" When her request was denied, the woman got angry and tried to interfere with the journalists on duty at the operation point. ATTACKING THE JOURNALISTSThe woman, who didn't want to be filmed, turned to the journalists and said, "I said I'm a public employee, but you're still filming. You're still filming, just to be stubborn. Come on, film, hold the camera." The woman then walked towards the journalist. When the woman complained about the journalists to her two companions, the two individuals also approached the journalists, threatening and cursing at them. The police officers intervened against the individuals who cursed at the journalists and also insulted their profession. "I WILL TEACH YOU A LESSON"While the individuals who threatened the journalists by saying, "I will teach you a lesson," were being removed from the scene, the woman named E.A. said to the journalists, "Film, film, take a picture of this too," and made an inappropriate gesture with her hand. After the procedures were completed, the woman left the scene and threatened the journalist, saying, "We will meet again," both verbally and physically. The driver without a license was fined 12,900 TL, and the mother, who was the owner of the vehicle, was also fined 12,900 TL, making a total of 25,800 TL. The vehicle was handed over to E.A., who attacked the journalists.
