The suspect, who fled after stabbing his girlfriend to death in Pendik, was caught in an abandoned building where he was hiding. In his statement, the suspect said that he lost control during the argument and could not remember exactly what he did. The murderer was arrested and sent to prison.
An incident that chills the blood occurred on Friday, April 18, in the Kaynarca neighborhood of Pendik district in Istanbul. According to the information obtained; R.A. (47) stabbed his girlfriend, Vasılahon Usmanova (47), who is of Uzbek nationality, and killed her.
KILLED HIS GIRLFRIEND IN FRONT OF NEIGHBORS
After the incident, police teams interviewed witnesses and learned that the couple was fighting, and during this time, R.A. tried to forcibly take his girlfriend to the basement, while neighbors intervened. The moments when the suspect stabbed the woman after ignoring the neighbors' shouts of "stop, don't" were captured by security cameras.
CAUGHT IN AN ABANDONED BUILDING WHERE HE HID
Police teams watching the camera footage began working to capture the fleeing suspect. The police arrested the suspect R.A. in an abandoned building where he was hiding. It was determined that the suspect and Vasılahon Usmanova entered Turkey from Istanbul Airport on March 13 and had been frequently arguing in the house where they had been staying for a while.
SAID "I DON'T REMEMBER" IN HIS STATEMENT
R.A., who gave a statement at the police station, reportedly said that he lost control during the argument and did not remember exactly what he did. After completing the procedures at the police station, the suspect was arrested by the court he was brought to and sent to prison.
