In the Muratpaşa district of Antalya, a person committed suicide by setting themselves on fire with flammable materials inside a wardrobe. It is believed that Uğur M. recorded those moments, as his camera was found turned towards the wardrobe.

At around 15:00, an incident occurred on the first floor of a three-story apartment building located on 2134th Street in Güzeloba Neighborhood. Residents who noticed the smoke surrounding the building reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notification, police and fire crews were dispatched to the scene.

Fire crews that arrived at the address opened the locked door and entered the apartment from which thick smoke was emanating. In their search inside the house, the teams found Uğur M. (57) burned inside the wardrobe. The Crime Scene Investigation and Homicide Bureau teams are considering the possibility that Uğur M. set himself on fire with flammable materials.

The teams also secured a tablet that had a camera facing the wardrobe but could not be activated. The tablet was taken to the police station for examination. Due to the tablet's location, it is believed that Uğur M. recorded those moments before the incident. After the work of the crime scene investigation teams, Uğur M.'s body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.
