Following the initiation of a blockade on ships heading to and from Iran in the Strait of Hormuz, US President Donald Trump made a new statement. Threatening Iran once again, Trump said, 'Write this down. Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, they will never be able to. Otherwise, we will not make a deal.'

In a statement, US President Donald Trump said, "Iran will never be able to possess nuclear weapons; otherwise, we will not make a deal."

TRUMP: NO DEAL IF IRAN DOES NOT GIVE UP NUCLEAR WEAPONS

US President Donald Trump continued his threats against Iran following the start of the ship blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. In his statement, Trump emphasized that they would never allow Iran's nuclear program, stating, "Write this down; Iran will never be able to possess nuclear weapons. Otherwise, we will not sit at a negotiation table."

Trump stated that Iran had contacted them, saying, "They really want to make a deal." Trump continued his remarks as follows: We have a blockade. They cannot do any business. Iran cannot do any business at all, and we will keep it that way. There is no conflict at the moment. Yesterday, 34 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz.

"SHIPS WILL BE ELIMINATED IF THEY APPROACH THE BLOCKADE

On the other hand, in a previous statement, Trump said, "If any of these ships approach our blockade, they will be immediately eliminated with the same destruction system we use against drug smugglers at sea with boats. It is fast and ruthless."

"IRAN'S NAVY IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA"

Trump continued his statements as follows: "Iran's navy is at the bottom of the sea, completely destroyed—158 ships. What we couldn't hit were the few ships they call 'fast attack boats.' Because we did not see them as a major threat.

98.2% of drugs entering the US via ocean or sea routes have been stopped. Thank you for your interest in this matter."

WHAT WILL THE US DO IN THE BLOCKADE?

The US military sent a note to sailors in the region shortly before the blockade began. The note stated, "Any ship entering or leaving the blockaded area without permission is subject to being stopped, redirected, and seized."

The announcement stated that a blockade would be implemented in the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea east of the Strait of Hormuz, and any ship entering or leaving the blockaded area without permission would be subject to stopping, rerouting, and detention procedures.

It was announced that the blockade would apply to all ship traffic regardless of flag, while it was emphasized that neutral transit passages to or from destinations other than Iran via the Strait of Hormuz would not be obstructed.

It was stated that neutral ships could be subject to "visit and search," i.e., inspection, to determine whether there is contraband cargo, and that humanitarian aid containing food, medical supplies, and other basic needs would be permitted, subject to inspection.

NO RESULT FROM NEGOTIATIONS

The Washington and Tehran administrations had held negotiations in Islamabad through Pakistan.

US Vice President JD Vance announced that the direct negotiations with Iran in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, had ended "without reaching an agreement."

Iranian media had suggested that the reason for the failure to reach a common framework and agreement in the Tehran-Washington talks in Islamabad was the excessive demands of the US.
