In the Ceyhan district of Adana, a person was found dead in his sleeping room, having been shot in the head with a gun. The lifeless body of the 50-year-old man was discovered by his wife and two sons, who have been taken into custody, while the gun used in the incident was not found in the room.
In the Belediye Evleri neighborhood of Ceyhan district in Adana, Şehmuz Atız, a father of three, did not get up for breakfast yesterday morning, so his wife E.A. went to the room where he was sleeping.
FOUND HIS WIFE SHOT IN THE HEAD IN THE ROOM
Noticing that the door was locked, E.A. allegedly went to a neighbor to ask for help. After the neighbor broke down the door, E.A. entered the room and saw her husband lying motionless, shot in the head and covered in blood, and called 112 Emergency Call Center for help. The medical team dispatched to the scene determined that 50-year-old Atız had died.
THE GUN WAS NOT FOUND IN THE ROOM WHERE HE DIED
In the examination conducted by the police at the scene, the gun used in the incident was not found in the room where Atız died. Atız's lifeless body was delivered to his relatives after the autopsy performed at the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution.
MOTHER AND 2 SONS IN CUSTODY
As part of the investigation, the police took Şehmuz Atız's wife E.A. and their sons T.A. and S.A., who has a mental disability, into custody. It was learned that the family's daughter was not at home during the incident. The questioning of the mother and her two sons at the police station is ongoing.
