The footage of Nuh Mercimek, a father of five who set himself on fire and lost his life in the Afşin district of Kahramanmaraş, has emerged prior to the incident. In the footage captured by security cameras, Mercimek is seen meeting with the private secretary of the municipality, during which he becomes agitated and throws himself to the ground. After being given water and cologne, it is observed that someone hits Mercimek.
The security camera footage from the municipality has emerged of the individual who set himself on fire in the Afşin district of Kahramanmaraş and later died in the hospital where he was being treated.
SET HIMSELF ON FIRE IN FRONT OF THE MUNICIPALITY
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on December 5 at the Afşin Municipality. Mercimek, a father of five, arrived in front of the municipality in his vehicle and went live on social media with his mobile phone. After claiming he was assaulted, Nuh Mercimek (45) poured flammable liquid on himself and set himself on fire. Mercimek was extinguished by the intervention of those around him, but he suffered burns on his body. He was taken to Afşin State Hospital by health teams and later transferred to Şanlıurfa, where Nuh Mercimek passed away.
FOOTAGE OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MUNICIPALITY EMERGED
It was learned that Mercimek had come to the Afşin Municipality about 5 months before he set himself on fire. Security camera recordings related to Mercimek's meeting have emerged. In the footage, Mercimek is seen entering the room with the municipality's private secretary, getting angry and throwing himself on the floor, after which the private secretary offered him water and a security officer gave him cologne.

In the continuation of the footage, it was observed that Mercimek hit the table and then a person in the room hit Nuh Mercimek. At the end of the security camera footage, it was seen that the crowd left the room.
