In a prostitution operation conducted by police teams in Gaziantep, 14 out of 21 suspects who were caught were arrested. The writings on the walls at the addresses where the raids took place, stating "If you inform the police, there is a fine of 26,000 TL," shocked everyone.
In Gaziantep, an operation was carried out against the crimes of promoting and facilitating prostitution under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch. In the operation, supported by special operations teams, 21 suspects were detained after raids were conducted at identified addresses using a battering ram.
WRITINGS ON THE WALL LEFT PEOPLE SHOCKED
During the searches at the addresses, a large number of digital materials, weapons, and materials constituting a crime were seized, while at one address used as a brothel, writings on a brochure hung on the wall stated, 'If you talk to the police, there is a fine of 25 thousand for you and 25 for me. Do not speak. If anyone asks, I came to look at the apartment. If you inform the police, there is a fine of 26 thousand TL. Do not inform the police, if you inform the police, there is a fine of 26 thousand TL per person,' which left people shocked.
14 OUT OF 21 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
After the legal proceedings were completed, 14 of the suspects referred to the judicial authorities were arrested and sent to prison, while judicial control measures were imposed on 6 suspects. As a result of the operation, a robbery incident was also clarified.
