A man who had a disagreement with his wife in Siirt hung a banner on February 14th, Valentine's Day, at one of the busy spots in the city that read, "I apologize for hurting and upsetting you. I will never make you sad again for the rest of my life. I love you very much." The man who hung the banner said, "My aim is for all of Siirt to see how much I love my wife."

Mehmet Korkmaz (30), who resides in the center of Siirt, chose a different way to apologize to his wife after a disagreement. On Valentine's Day, February 14, Korkmaz hung a banner on the street in front of Siirt Training and Research Hospital, one of the busiest points in the city.
