In Bağcılar, Istanbul, 19-year-old Şeymanur Sanbay fatally stabbed her coworker Havin Taşçı twice with a knife after an argument over an order at a café. Two switchblade knives were seized at the scene, and Şeymanur Sanbay was arrested and sent to prison.

DISPUTE OVER ORDER, ARGUMENT ENSUED



The incident occurred on Friday, October 31, around 4:00 AM in the Sancaktepe neighborhood. According to reports, Havin Taşçı (20) came to the café she had left some time ago and placed an order. Şeymanur Sanbay (19) brought her order. An argument broke out between Havin and Sanbay over the order that Havin did not like.

After the argument, Sanbay left the café and went home. Then, after getting a knife from her home, Sanbay returned to the café with her sister R.F.S. (16). The argument between Taşçı and Sanbay reignited and quickly escalated into a fight. During the fight, Sanbay stabbed Taşçı with the knife she had brought, seriously injuring her.

STABBED IN THE HEART AND ABDOMEN



Upon receiving reports from those in the café, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The police took security measures in the area and initiated an investigation into the incident. Heavily injured, Taşçı was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention by the health teams. Despite all the interventions at the hospital, Havin Taşçı, who was stabbed in the abdomen and heart, could not be saved.



2 SWITCHBLADES FOUND



The police teams that arrived at the scene detained Şeymanur Sanbay and her sister R.F.S. During the investigations at the scene, two switchblades were seized. Şeymanur Sanbay, who was sent to the courthouse, was arrested and sent to prison, while her sister R.F.S. was released. The police's investigations into the incident are ongoing.
