It has been revealed that Kazım Bayrak, who lost his life as a result of a water tanker accident during the forest fire in Bursa, had met the tanker driver by chance. Bayrak's brother learned that his sibling had gotten into the vehicle of an unknown tanker driver to participate voluntarily in the firefighting efforts.
It has emerged that Kazım Bayrak, one of the three people who lost their lives in the tanker that overturned while carrying water to the forest fire between the Gürsu and Kestel districts of Bursa, got into the vehicle to help the tanker driver he met by chance in the area.
The forest fire that broke out between the Gürsu and Kestel districts of Bursa continues on its third day. A sad news came from the fire area yesterday. The water tanker that was on its way to intervene in the fire rolled into a ravine. Three people lost their lives in the accident.
ACCIDENTALLY MET WITH THE TANKER DRIVER
İbrahim Bayrak, the brother of Kazım Bayrak (31), who lost his life in the accident, stated that his brother was in the furniture business and was single.
Bayrak, who reported that his brother went to the area voluntarily at the first moments of the fire, continued his words as follows: "My brother went to Dışkaya Neighborhood voluntarily when the fires broke out. There, he accidentally meets the tanker driver who came from Bolu. Kazım and the other friends are fighting together to help him, to be beneficial to our homeland and nation, and to extinguish the fire."
"WE NEED TO BE A LITTLE MORE SENSITIVE"
Bayrak expressed that they received the news of death after the accident, saying, "This country, this homeland belongs to all of us. We need to protect this nature and the forests. We throw garbage carelessly, we pollute our forests. They are having barbecues and leaving embers behind. We need to be a little more sensitive."
WHAT HAPPENED?
In the forest fire that broke out the day before yesterday between the Gürsu and Kestel districts of Bursa, the tanker carrying water to the area rolled into a ravine yesterday, resulting in the deaths of driver Ahmet Demirel, and passengers Kazım Bayrak and Mehmet Şimşek.
Kazım Bayrak and Mehmet Şimşek's funerals were held in the Gürsu district, while Ahmet Demirel's funeral was buried in Bolu.
