The English Football Association has launched an investigation into Lucas Paqueta, the star player of West Ham United, who is accused of intentionally receiving a card, as well as betting on his team winning in four matches. The 26-year-old footballer, however, denies the allegations and stated, "I will fight to clear my name. Due to the ongoing process, I will not make any further comments."

Betting scandals continue in the Premier League. The English Football Federation has launched an investigation into Lucas Paqueta, the Brazilian player of West Ham, who is accused of intentionally receiving cards for betting purposes.

An investigation has also been launched into Paqueta for allegedly betting on his own club, West Ham, to win in four matches. These matches were against Leicester City, Aston Villa, Leeds United, and Bournemouth.

Paqueta has denied the accusations, stating, "I completely deny the allegations. I will fight to clear my name. I will not make any further comments due to the ongoing process."
