A woman who committed theft in a flower shop in the İlkadım district of Samsun was caught red-handed. After reviewing the security cameras, it was determined that the woman had stolen from the same store 14 more times. The shopkeeper who caught her reported that he said to the woman, "Aren't you ashamed to steal these pots?" She replied, "I only took a melon, I'll pay for it," and then walked away.
While stealing from a flower shop in Samsun, the woman caught on security cameras was found to have committed theft 14 times from the same establishment before.
The incident occurred in the İstasyon neighborhood of İlkadım district in Samsun. Around 07:30 in the morning, the woman took a pot from a bag on the table in front of the shop and was caught red-handed by a neighboring shopkeeper, Ali Yakut.
CAUGHT RED-HANDED
When Yakut asked the woman what she was doing, he realized she was stealing and showed her the security camera, warning her. In response, the woman quickly left, saying, "I bought a melon before; if you want the money, I can give it to you."
STOLE 14 TIMES BEFORE
After the situation was reported to the shop owner, Serkan Bankoğlu, the security cameras were reviewed. The footage revealed that the woman had come to the shop multiple times early in the morning, taking items such as sugar cubes, wet wipes, paper towels, salt, melon, and tea from the table. It was determined that the woman had stolen from the same shop 14 times and was caught during her 15th theft.

The shopkeeper who caught the woman, Ali Yakut, said, "I noticed she was rummaging through the bags. When I saw the pots, I asked her, 'Aren't you ashamed to steal these?' She replied, 'I only took a melon; I will give you the money' and walked away. Then, when we watched the cameras, we saw 14 separate thefts."
The shop owner, Serkan Bankoğlu, stated, "It has been 1.5 years since I opened the shop. There have been thefts twice before. I have never seen such boldness. I am ashamed to say this. As long as they stay away from me, that's enough."
