According to the inflation data for August announced by TÜİK, the maximum rent increase rate has been determined. Accordingly, landlords and property owners whose contracts expire in September can increase the rent by a maximum of 39.62%.
The inflation data for August announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has been revealed. According to the data, inflation increased by 2.04% in August, while the annual rate reached 32.95%. Along with the figures, the rental increase rates for workplaces and residences that can be applied in September have also been determined.
RENTAL CEILING INCREASE RATE
The rental increase rate for residences and workplaces has emerged as 39.62%. Thus, property and business owners whose rental contracts expire in September will increase their rents by 39.62%. Last month, the increase rate was 43.23%.
