A dramatic incident occurred in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. A small Yorkshire Terrier was dangerously clinging to the edge of a window shutter in an apartment. A woman on the lower floor leaned out of her window holding a cardboard box to catch the dog. When the dog finally fell, the woman managed to catch it in the box, and the dog was unharmed after the fall.

However, before a terrible accident occurs, the woman below manages to catch the dog in the box and carries it to the safety of her home amidst applause and cheers from neighbors and onlookers.
The Yorkshire Terrier named Alicinha surprisingly suffered no injuries after the fall.
The dog had escaped from the apartment window while its owners were outside and had become trapped.
Neighbor Clarisse Saraiva da Silva, who lives below, noticed the distressed dog and rushed to her window to see it clinging to the shutter above.
After learning that the owner was not home, she gave a blanket to the building's caretaker to place below, took a cardboard box, filled it with clothes, and held it out from her window.
Alicinha surprisingly suffered no injuries after the fall.
The dramatic rescue took place last Thursday in an apartment in Guarulhos, on the outskirts of São Paulo.
Saraiva da Silva said she sprang into action when she heard neighbors shouting and asking for help around 3:00 PM.
In an interview with a local television channel, she said, "People started calling me, and when I went to the window to see what was happening, I saw the little dog. I immediately ran upstairs and started knocking on the door, but there was no answer."
"Then I took a blanket and left it for the caretaker to make a cushion in case the dog fell."
"The box was a last-minute idea, and I thought, 'If you can't hold on, at least soften the fall.'
Clarisse said that the neighbors were trying to call the owner on her cell phone, but she was stuck in traffic.
"She was very scared when she found out what was happening."
"When she returned and we were able to hand Alicinha over to her, she was very emotional."
Residents of the neighborhood said they believed the dog had climbed onto the protective mesh of the window and slipped out through a hole at the top.
