After the argument they had in Antalya, the husband who injured his 37-week pregnant wife with a gun fled the scene in his vehicle. Police teams have initiated work to capture the suspect. The incident occurred on the first floor of an apartment located on 3575 Street in the Hüsnü Karakaş neighborhood of Kepez district. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Hatice A. (25) and her husband Abdullah A. (33) for an undetermined reason. As the argument escalated, Abdullah A. shot his 37-week pregnant wife in both her right and left knees with the gun he had with him. After the gunshots, Abdullah A. fled the scene in his vehicle. Following a report from relatives present in the house, 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the address.
TEAMS CONTINUE WORKING TO CAPTURE THE FLEEING SUSPECT
Injured Hatice A. was taken to Kepez State Hospital for treatment after the first intervention at the scene. Following the report, the Antalya Police Department's Public Order Branch Homicide Bureau and Crime Scene Investigation teams arrived at the scene and conducted a detailed examination of the house and its surroundings. During the investigations, security camera footage from the apartment was also obtained. The footage shows Abdullah A. leaving the apartment with gloves on, while the police teams continue their efforts to capture the individual who fled after injuring his pregnant wife with a gun.
