A 72-year-old man shot his wife and daughter at home, then went to a coffeehouse where he first drank tea before calling the police to turn himself in. His 58-year-old wife lost her life in the incident, while his 37-year-old daughter was hospitalized with injuries.
In the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, 72-year-old Z.A., who shot his wife and daughter with a gun, surrendered by calling the police at a cafe he went to after the incident. During checks by medical teams, it was determined that his 58-year-old wife K.A. had lost her life.
DOMESTIC PROBLEMS WERE THE CAUSE
The incident occurred on Turgut Özal Boulevard in Selahattin Eyyubi Neighborhood. According to claims, Z.A., who was experiencing domestic problems, fired a gun at his wife K.A. and his 37-year-old daughter H.A. at home.
HE WENT TO A CAFE AND DRANK TEA BEFORE REPORTING HIMSELF
After the incident, the suspect left the house, went to a cafe, drank tea, and then called the 112 Emergency Call Center to report himself.
THE MOTHER LOST HER LIFE, THE DAUGHTER IS SERIOUSLY INJURED
Upon the report, medical teams dispatched to the scene determined during their checks that K.A. had died. His 37-year-old daughter H.A., reported to be seriously injured, was taken to the hospital and placed under treatment.
It was learned that the procedures for Z.A., who was detained by police teams, are ongoing at the security directorate.
