In the Kilimli district of Zonguldak, Yusuf Ündeş shot and killed his wife Tülay Ündeş, who was in the process of getting a divorce, and his mother-in-law Zaide Alkaç while returning from a hospital visit. It was reported that the restraining order against Ündeş expired in June.
In Zonguldak, Yusuf Ündeş (46) shot and killed his estranged wife Tülay Ündeş (45) and mother-in-law Zaide Alkaç (64) with a shotgun while they were returning home from a hospital visit.
A chilling incident occurred in Zonguldak. The event took place in the Şirinköy Çalca neighborhood of the Kilimli district during the afternoon hours.
HE KILLED HIS WIFE AND MOTHER-IN-LAW WITH A SHOTGUN
As Tülay Ündeş and her mother Zaide Alkaç were approaching their home after visiting a sick relative, they encountered Yusuf Ündeş on a bridge. Yusuf Ündeş, who was in the process of divorcing Tülay Ündeş, pointed the gun he retrieved from his car at his wife and mother-in-law, saying, "Why don't you talk now?" and opened fire.
As the mother and daughter collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, Yusuf Ündeş fled the scene. Upon receiving notifications from the surrounding people, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the location. After the examination by the public prosecutor, the bodies of Tülay Ündeş and her mother Zaide Alkaç were taken to the morgue of Atatürk State Hospital for autopsy.
HE WAS DETAINED
Authorities tried to calm the relatives of the mother and daughter who arrived at the scene after receiving the tragic news. Police teams, who initiated an investigation into the incident, captured Ündeş in the district and detained him.
THE RESTRAINING ORDER EXPIRED IN JUNE
It was reported that the divorce case of Tülay and Yusuf Ündeş had been ongoing for approximately 2 years. Following Tülay Ündeş's application, a restraining order was issued against Yusuf Ündeş; however, it was reported that the order expired in June.
